ROUNDTABLE/STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING

  1. Update:  Judy Fried reported on plans for the 2/23/04 Kick-Off Event for policymakers.  She also indicated Myrna Torres from Prevention First is willing to assist.  There is a training program for facilitators in Open Space Technology at the end of January.  Jay Meyer and Debra Trude Suter expressed an interest.  Any one wanting to attend should contact Judy for additional information.

 

Program:  Discussion on the program resulted in the attached schedule and questions for panel members and Hal Coxon to review.  The attached is for committee use only.

 

  1. Implementer’s Meeting:  Judy, Jay and Debra offered to coordinate.  A form will be prepared for 2/23 event so attendees can submit names for Implementer’s Meeting.  Michelle will collect names and add to list.

 

  1. Funding:  Requests for funding to be sent to NIC, NCREL, Abbott, Lake County Partners, Illinois Council for Violence Prevention, Lake County Community Foundation, Attorney General and Lt. Governor, Townships and Municipalities.  Additional resources needed and welcomed.
